So darnassus burned down. Any chance we will get something similar, it was my favorite major city in the game and it was one of the reasons I even started playing the game in vanilla. Saw it back in vanilla when I went to my best friends house and he showed me wow. Was blown away on how crazy the graphics were in 2004 based on the games during its period. Would be cool if the Night Elfs got a new major city that was similar.

Yeah. I joined WoW way back when because of Teldrassil and the NElf start zone tree/pond.
NElves have never been loved in this entire game’s history.

Like the super hyped up black eyes which look like the lowest and most pure form of garbage I’ve ever seen? I was SO excited to have something cool looking. Then I saw what we got and… Nty

I agree too. But I also think it was an issue of the updated model looking bad that made it even worse.

I still hate them for removing my teeth. As a DK pre-model update. I had real fangs when I /rawr’d. After the update, they removed ALL OF MY DK TEETH. Idk when, maybe in the past year, I got my teeth back. But I still don’t see fangs anymore when I /rawr. I see some fang when I /lol

Hate to be the rain cloud on ya hope, but like…let it go.
The stump is gone, my sweet sewer city is gone and only Chromie time will bring it back for either of us.
…Besides, if either city had true soul, we shall meet them again in the shadow lands.
well there is a major time skip coming after shadowlands, it was confirmed its not just some rumor.
this gives them the ability to regrow darnasus and fix many other areas
so yes id assume darnasus will be back in the xpac after shadowelands

Can you not just talk to a bronze dragon to go back to darnassus?
It’s not like blizzard planned on updating any non Stormwind/Org cities anyway.
I’m still confused why the elves even moved their capital to teldrassil, it was only around for a couple years before the start of wow.
is there a lore reason explaining it?
I’d leave the Alliance baby-king to get some sweet revenge. Yes, sign me up!

Not 100% sure off the top of my head, but I think Nordrasil was destroyed (heavily damaged) in the battle against Archimonde. Teldrassil was the Night Elves attempted to create a new world tree (but not blessed by the Aspects).
They can’t do anything with the gnome or worgen capital.
I wouldn’t get hopes up too high.
