with the heritage armor coming out soon I’m wondering what brings people to playing the race they play. so troll players what brings you to playing one of the best races in the game? there fun interesting (and sometimes depressing and/or racist) lore? there cool tusks that seems to activate a toggle in my mind? they’re cool hair? some other thing I forgot to mention? tell me why the darkspear trolls are the race you play in world of warcraft! I would play them myself but I’ve haven’t had much energy yet to play alts in dragonflight.
My BE Hunter’s backstory starts with her training to be a warrior and not succeeding at it. The one thing she excelled at was using a bow (as they once could), and the Darkspear hunter who was training her convinced her that she had a gift as a hunter. He took her back to his village to learn from the masters of the class, as well as himself. His daughter is my one and only Troll. A resto Druid.
I played a troll earlier I think a big part of it is feeling like being the OG Azeroth race. Elves devolved from them and they have adapted to everywhere.
For some classes the racial is pretty cracked.

Cause I be regeneratin 10 hp a second and there ain’t nothin you can do about it.
And if you know where that comes from you’ve been playing this game way to long like I have.
