Darkshore end boss bugged

I joined one late to find out the entire zone was taken by the Alliance, as we, the Alliance, were on attack, and Maiev wouldn’t give the text to start the battle.

Had to leave, got a 30 minute deserter debuff, dislike this event completely. While Stromgarde is annoying to wait for the gates to drop, at least the boss doesn’t bug out and cause everyone joining the instance to accept a debuff.

Same situation, I think, just happened to me.

I join the Darkshore warfront que. On the initial boat, there was no battlefront-like countdown. The quest info on the right of the screen showed all the warfront goals as completed. So I jumped off the boat and ran to the platform where you mount the bird to fly to Sira. When I got to Sira we couldn’t engage her. After a while I left and got the debuff.

Me too this is honestly annoying because the other warfront takes a million years for the gate please fix the Darkshore boss fight as it is my favourite thing to do for gear and I cant and it has wasted at least 2 hours of my gear grind. Fix your game…

This is what happens when impatient people zerg the mechs without buying the glaives. Blizz needs to make it so that you cannot progress until the glaives are purchased.

Same here, got the debuff on multiple toons from queueing into a bugged wf. :frowning:

Wonder how long it will take Blizzard to fix this? Maybe next patch?

Once this happens if the whole raid does not leave at once then hapless players get dropped into an instance they cannot complete and get the debuff for nothing. Now that the “bug” is known is it possible people are actually doing this deliberately?

Or they could fix their damn game and quit forcing everyone to slow down and sit on their arses for 10 minutes.

If u want to leave the warfront without getting the deserter buff just die (i usually just drown myself) then as soon as u resurrect at the altar leave the wf and u wont have the buff. Ur welcome :slight_smile:
