Darkmoon Harlequin's Bells

The one character I have wearing shows up naked on the character select screen. Not sure that the bug is with that.

I haven’t seen it in game, but from the OP, it looks a bit
 Twi’lek to me.

The fact that no other game currency has been put in some other kind of shop aside from gold, and you can’t use gold to buy any other kind of game currency.

The game has about five billion different kinds of currency to incentivize different kinds of activities. Valor, Honor, Conquest points, anima, dragon isles resources, shiny pet tokens, Timewarped Badges, and on and on, to get you to grind Heroic/M+/timewalking dungeons, raids, world quests, pet battles, etc. None of those currencies can be bought with cash, or gold. Trader’s Tender incentivizes ALL of those activities, and keeping their MAUs and time-played high with actual rewards instead of designing purposeful speedbumps and delays into the game and driving away frustrated players. It pays for itself without cash.

I know you’re REALLY determined to be a bitter bean, ranting about “Pay to Win”, but it just doesn’t apply in most cases. It hardly applies in the cases in which you insist that it applies.

How much gold does it cost to change into the set? I would check but I spent all my chicken tenders and cant afford anything else.

You can check without changing. I’d guess in the 600ish range. Paying to transmog still seems a bit silly to me, but it’s not quite bank-breaking.

You do know that people can buy a wow token for gold, right?

Blizzard allows people to use gold to buy things like arena carries (for conquest), battleground pre-made group carries (for honor), and mythic plus carries (for valor).

All of those currencies can indirectly be bought on the wowshop through the wow token.

What does it matter to you if the trader post currency gets put on the wowshop?

You still get your free 1000 likely. I dont see blizzard taking away the base amount since thats the incentive to keep your sub.

Im just saying its only a matter of time, especially when you have people like this who want everything and dont want to play the game.

Blizzard doesnt care about how much time you spend in the game per month, they only track if you log in once (IE: have an active sub).

How many hours you spend in game is not important to blizzard.

I like it on my shadow priest.

Provide proof of your claims for this and no people buying tokens to get gold to hire folk to carry them isn’t making the game P2W

You hit the nail on the head.

I could not put words to it. But Something about the head piece looked a bit off to me. I was not getting a jester vibe, but something kind of
 alien.

I think its cool, and its nice to have something sort of jester-like
it is probably as close as we will get for a while. But the little floofy thingies dangling from the hat
(“liliripes” according to google?) look more like Twilek lekku than a harlequin hat.

looks amazing and we need some re-colors
like a gray with black, maybe a blue

Whether you like it or not, the outfit is beautiful and refreshing to see. It is so different from everything else and very vibrant.

Ok.

Buy a token with real currency, receive gold from that real currency.

Blizzard allows people to buy carries in raids/mythic plus for gold.

You just got a full set of 418 gear by using real currency to buy wow tokens

That is literally the textbook definition of pay to win.

They should probably fix the fact that your head disappears, lol.
I like it though, made a new undead warrior and a new velf rogue just to sport it and level them up with the mog on. Been enjoying it a lot.

I kinda like some of it
since I’m lazy do we know if you can mog individual parts or is it a set of jammies like the yeti suit?? I only want the head piece for a certain mog. :see_no_evil::speak_no_evil::hear_no_evil:

Yeah, it’s a pretty prominent gap on my Draenei as well.

It just doesn’t make sense for Blizzard strategic goals. If their end game was the cash shop
why not just add them to the cash shop in the first place?

BRUH I NOTICED LAST NIGHT! Idk if anyone poined it out but the middle “bell” is an eye of Nzoth! Possible hint at the future of the game? Is DMF connected to Nzoth?

Except it’s not, in any way, P2W. It’s P2Skip I give you that, but you get nothing for your money that you 1) can’t get with currency earned in game; 2) can’t do yourself with normal effort; and 3) requires people who have ALREADY COMPLETED the activity tou are paying for. :hear_no_evil::speak_no_evil::see_no_evil:

No? Where’d you hear that?

All of the above sounds terrible.

However!

I’m not opposed to seeing trading post items making their way directly onto the store AFTER having been on the post. Maybe 4-6 months after they debut.

They really need to do something with the shop. There’s hardly anything on there. Selling a weapon skin for $3 isn’t a bad idea.

Selling a full transmog set for $10-$15 is a good idea.

They could sell NPC transmogs. You could get Varian’s shoulders or Jaina’s gear, or Baine’s totem weapon. Ect

Edit: But only after they appear in-game on the trading post!

They should be obtainable for free from playing the game first!
