Nothing original or insightful, just really wanted to say that this really is one of my favorite additions to the game. It looks amazing, well done to the artist(s) involved :dracthyr_heart: :dracthyr_heart:.

After sitting on it for a bit. I feel a Jester mog would’ve been a better move for April. Ya know? April 1st. Still I appreciate an original mog for this game… I hope they keep that up.

I like the set

but visually it feels so out of place in wow. I guess that’s kinda the point of the trading post though.

Idk about that, but at some point, they will monetize the trading post via some kind of “battle pass” (much like the one that they added to hearthstone in 2019). There will still be the free rewards, but the monetization will work in one of these ways or some combinations of ways:

  1. As I mentioned, there will be some kind of “battle pass” that will unlock an additional reward track. This additional reward track will include perks with purchase and/or as rewards along and extended/increased point total to earn each month, including but not limited to:
  • toys
  • transmog items and/or sets
  • mounts
  • battle pets
  • game time
  • more freeze slots
  • increased amount of earnable tenders each month
  • etc…
  1. There will be a special, additional vendor each month. This vendor sells additional items that are a step above most/all the things the standard trader sells. However, this vendor only deals in a special (i.e premium) tender currency. You will earn this additional currency at a VERY slow rate (maybe only 50-100 per month, and the items will cost 500-1000+ each). But worry not, for the in-game shop will sells them in bundles (much like hearthstone does with runestones)
  2. They will just add the ability to purchase tender bundles for actual money in the in-game shop for money or some type of special currency you buy with money (like runestones in the hearthstone shop)

yeah but April 1st is on a saturday. So the traders post wouldn’t have updated yet because they update on a tuesday. Least to my memory.

Having the set available now means we’ll be able to wear it for april 1st

This is unacceptable for a subscription based MMO. If they do this they better make WoW go free to play

Omg the tusks with that look great lol

You still gotta do something although it’s small. Do the smaller tasks like barbor shop or something of the sort. You have all month and you can progress on alts. :slight_smile: You got this Shreds!

This also makes me think about the hood and cloak combo. I thought with pink last month, that if they did another one for March, they’d do green for St. Patrick’s. I do like these hood and cloaks, so even though they did black instead of green, I am happy. I ran pink all last month and I am now running black.
