Darkmoon Faire Tickets/DMF Prize Tickets

In the fishing section of the DMF, there is a vendor who will sell you a Faded Treasure Map. The description on the item says: This item contains 100 Dark Moon Faire Tickets!. Are these the same as Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets, as I couldn’t find an entry for Darkmoon Fiare Tickets?.. only the Prize Tickets. I don’t want to spend however many hours (A LOT) fishing off this dock if it doesn’t go towards the Prize Tickets. Thank you.

Yes. I’ve read about this and watched a video about it. The quest can only be done once on each character (once ever, not once each month). You can purchase the 100 fish in the AH (though prices are usually high when DMF is active). It awards 100 prize tickets – the kind you pay 55 or 75 of, to purchase transmogs.
