With the 11.0.5 warband bank changes, shouldn’t we be able to use simple flour from our warband bank to do this quest?
Profession access to the warbank is uneven and obviously incomplete.
Sounds like the developers didn’t have the luxury of finding the one thing that would allow all profession actions, including non-profession quests*, to use the warbank. So they changed the obvious stuff and left the rest for later.
*“non-profession quest” is a quest in which you’re not actually using a profession recipe to complete the quest, even if the purpose and the outcome of the quest is profession-related.
There were profession quests where the quest added a temporary recipe to your profession known list just to perform the quest’s required action, and if the Darkmoon Faire profession quests did that it probably would have accessed the warbank.

For the time being, you can kick it old school and pick up some simple flour from the cart vendor right outside the faire portal for Alliance. At least it’s not too inconvenient.
