Darkmoon faire profession quests not giving artisan's acuity

i have done leatherworking, skinning, alchemy and herbalism quests so far and no acuity from any of the knowledge points received.

These professions are maxed for me, but that has never been an issue in the past.

EDIT: I did more on another alt and got 15 artisan’s METTLE from dragonflight lol. it was either gemcrafting or inscription. I guess that tells me i was not imagining these quests are supposed to give artisan’s w/e.

like every other expansion, darkmoon faire quests always (or are supposed to) “upgrade” to the current xpac rewards.

The horrible collection of artisan’s acuity in TWW doesn’t need to be made even worse. Perhaps getting acuity wouldn’t be quite so bad, if players could trade in mettle for acuity at some ratio.

Same, I’ve got mettle but not acuity. I agree with you. Acuity acquisition is terrible.

Not a bug. Acuity was hotfix removed from darkmoon faire profession quests back in August shortly after launch, before the first faire of TWW even hit. So the faire has never provided acuity. If you think it should be changed, the feedback is better served here

It’s not. Any source of DI knowledge gives mettle, and it still gives knowledge points for DI if you have the skill learned.

no idea what DI is and why i didn’t get any mettle on other faire quests when they all have done dragonflight professions to max

Dragon Isles.

In the same hotfix that removed Acuity, they made it so you will get Dragon Isles knowledge as well.

I’m not sure why you didn’t revieve mettle either, that could be a bug. DI professions would be dragon isles, though, I believe you need to have those learned to get knowledge points for them.

Have all DF professions, did all the darkmoon faire quests yesterday, and got mettle from one of them. Mettle would have a use if they could be traded in for acuity at even a bad ratio. anything would be better than having mettle clogging my banks or having to destroy them.

Mettle is for DF, Acuity is for TWW. There’s no reason that they’d be mixed together. If you don’t need it you can just sell it now

Yes, I just got 15 Artisans Mettle… at LEAST I got points for Khaz Algar…Artisans Acuity are way more ‘scarce’… why can’t the game just work… Why??? So many bugs I run into of late.

It’s not a bug.

  • Darkmoon Faire profession quests no longer give Artisan’s Acuity.
  • Darkmoon Faire profession quests now also grant Dragon Isles specialization knowledge for players who know the associated Skill Line.

I just didn’t have the time to look this up in my 999k page Wow encyclopedia.
I think, I have been playing so very long, a bit tired of looking so much up. :::
(also been trying to play 13 80’s… not a good plan either) :::

When I feel good about myself and need some ‘shaming and hate’ I just come to these here forums. It works like a charm.
SO funny the forums will censor you for their narrative of ‘hate’…but there is plenty to go around here regardless. This is the ‘upside down’ world!

faire isn’t giving any acuity at all now.

Unlike in DF, acuity for TWW is harder to to get and way too many “essential” recipes are on vendors for 150 acuity each.
