Please remove the DMF 4 hour cooldown. If you do BFD twice which takes under 1 hour then you are left with 3 hours to sit logged in just so you can get DMF again the following week. There is no reason for the internal cooldown to exist anymore especially with the sped up pace of the Darkmoon Faire.

I mean, with DMF up every other week, you really should just have it all the time no? 120 mins should equal roughly 5 BFD runs, 4 if you’re in a slower guild. So 12-15 days worth of lockouts
This sounds like a raid logging problem. I guess the easy solution is just boon it and play that character?
that 4 hour in-game requirement is so trash, disrespectful of player time.

No because you get DMF at the beginning of the week for that entire week which is 3 BFD lockouts. You go refresh it on Sunday for the following week where DMF isn’t up and you are still left with 3 hours of sitting logged in to be able to get the buff again because of the internal cooldown.
User problem. Just play the game on that character and call it a day. Do you ONLY raid log on him or something? Don’t touch him outside raids?
This sounds like a raid logger problem. Lucky it’s even boonable and not treated like the 5% buff, unless that’s another reason you “don’t play” said character.

Every time you unboon the DMF buff it resets the 4 hour cooldown.

Yes I raid log on that character. I have full bis save for two tiny upgrades in BFD and there is nothing to do in game atm… it’s level 25…
I love people don’t want things to be more convenient. Are you dumb? QoL is bad, evil, no changes. Go to Classic Era and yell at the sky because we about changes around here for SoD, get used to it because a lot more changes are going to happen.

Overplaying is running BFD every 3 days and getting every item I need? Being lazy is not wanting to log in to stand still and do nothing for 3 hours just so I can get rid of an internal cooldown and get another buff? Boy you are dumb.

Ir they could let the cd run out when you are offline.
Did they change it to solely timing down while in game? Because, uh… it does. 8 hours logged out in city had always reset it before.
My guilds hunter was still on cd from our raid night 2 days ago, he hadn’t logged in since. And was in org.
Weird. That is supposed to reset it. Anyways, still doesn’t matter. If you can’t get the buff, you shouldn’t have the buff.
If you unboon the buff and get rid of it… and then log out at an innkeeper(i did it in a city) for 8 hours… i could get the buff again without being online for 4 hours
Its more of a multiple character problem. 4 BFD raiding toons makes the debuff very annoying. I don’t see what the harm is in removing the cooldown period.
I think the 4 hr cooldown is unneccesary. It is the only buff in the game that requires you to be on for 4 hrs to get a refresh or renew of it. Its not ideal for someone with one account with multiple raiding characters to be refreshing DMF. It just requires more logged in time that some people cant afford to give sometimes. Plus when you think of it at lvl 60 content when we arnt talking about BFD anymore, it will just be a nuisance. I see nothing changing about the peoples gameplay just quality of life.
