I thought the DMF Replica transmog gear was BOA? Do I have to wait for the 2 hour return time to expire or something?

If it has the return timer then yes. Is it gear you can equip? Ie plate for a plate wearer, cloth for a clothie, etc.

Yeah. I ended up buying multiple copies of the same thing on alts when I decided to buy out because it wasn’t registering on other characters for some reason? Do I have to send them in the mail or wait for the timer to expire before it shows up on alts? What’s wrong with it? I resold them all back in a panic so I didn’t waste my darkmoon tickets.

If I recall correctly it will show up, but the timer doesn’t tick if you aren’t in game with the guy who has the item in question.

Not sure if that is a glitch or by design.

I am saying it’s not showing up on alts in my cosmetic collection. It’s showing up on the character I bought them on?

Usually equipping it will kill the timer and add the appearance to your wardrobe instantly. If not… toss it in your void storage, that’s a guaranteed way to remove the 2 hour refund timer.

It’s my ALTS I want them to show up on and not just the character I bought them on.

It will show up on them as soon as the timer is cleared.

Yesss… if the refund timer is present, the item is not permanently bound to your character and therefore its appearance is not added to your account-wide transmog library.

I have to toss gear from old raids in void storage all the time thanks to the trade timer (same mechanic) in order to get the appearances to show up on my alts.

It’s a protection for the player, against the old “Oh crud! I didn’t mean to buy that one!” mis-click. Tears can flow very salty when that many tickets get lost through a mistake of misjudgment. Getting a cool-down period can be a good thing in that way.

It should, after the ‘wait timer’ expires.

Thanks a lot for clarifying this to me, I was freaking out that blizzard has changed the rules and decided to force us to work on each gear per alt.

Transmog it on the character you purchased it on. This will kill the timer and give a warning before you apply the appearance change. Once that is done it will appear in the appearances tab for every character that can transmog it.

Ok good. This almost made me buy copies of the same piece of gear on alts and almost wasted my darkmoon tickets by doing so.

Another way to lock it in without having to burn the gold to actually Transmog it or use Void Storage is to set it as a Favorite. It’ll make it non-refundable and add it to your Collection. Can remove it from Favorites after. :slight_smile:
