Darkmoon Fair PvP is Cringe if you are Alliance or Horde

I made a post two weeks ago complaining about alliance camping the DMF buff non-stop. I wanted to recognize as a horde player that there are also cringe horde players camping the DMF in Mulgore.

This is just a bump on an old post reiterating we need something done about the status of pvp griefing at DMF. I opted we should put neutral elite guards that engage any level of pvp (Preferably insta kills so rogue can’t get away).

I don’t care what it is at this point, just a cry for Blizzard to take action and fix this problem, you have many suggestions from the community, please just do something!

That way priests can casually kill both factions equally by summoning their homunculi good idea.

Why not just have the fair appear in both areas. Anyone who is enjoying dmf pvp (which I agree is for garbage eaters) can still go try and pvp if they want but you just grab the buff.

Thing is most “DMF wpvp” players actually suck and need you funneled into situations (one faction not having to be flagged) to have their fun or revenge or both.

Because the point of putting the fair in these areas is to create an environment where the horde and alliance clash… this isn’t solely a PvE game

So plop it in STV and leave it there eternally then. Legit, what reason are you going to there other than to get the buff or kill people trying to get it. Might as well put it somewhere that encourages pvp and not training civillians or other nonsense. You legit only go because of a PvE buff, whether you like to pvp or not.

Please read, I literally said “I don’t care what it is at this point, just do something.” There is an argument to be made that any method has a flaw, but its better than what’s going on now.

Could make the immediate area a sanctuary area so nobody can PVP, but it would still allow for groups to fight outside it. Gives PVPers a chance to deny people still, but anyone who makes it into the fair isn’t griefed into oblivion. A battle of attrition instead of a standstill.

daily reminder to roll on a pve server if you dont like pvp for any reason

Whoa slow down there, no good ideas.

Just delete Songflower, DMF, DME, ZG and Rend buffs from the game problem solved. Leave Ony/Nef/Current raid tier.

Behavior like this is the entire point of a pvp server. If you roll on a pvp server you are opting in to having pvp experiences at almost any moment. It is often when you least wanted to engage in pvp. By it’s nature it is antagonistic.

If you do not like it, do not roll on a pvp server.

DMF “pvp” is terrible and toxic.

but…

If you rolled on a pvp server, there is no excuse to have not seen this coming. Let go of your pride and ego and just accept that “world pvp” really means a playground for psychopaths where one side typically destroys the other without counterplay. Stop trying to make this game something it is not and just roll pve.

Should Blizzard do something to save players from themselves? Probably. Will they though? Who knows, they have acted rather arbitrary on what they change/fix.

There is nothing to do because there is nothing wrong.

They need to just remove the 4 hour cooldown, no reason for it to exist

If its fine to have then its fine to remove chronoboom.

Stop being such a baby.

Go play on a PVE server.

You’re welcome for the solution to solve all your PvP problems.

Fake horde player

YES! You get it, paladins should be remade into clerics!

DMF pvp this past week has been some of the most fun pvp I’ve experienced. Both factions using spies and other out of the box tactics like getting out of bounds to summon, players communicating and coordinating in the open world. Clashes between 100+ on each side. The alliance getting smashed every time. 10/10 experience really.
