Did they get an hk and some honor? Sounds like pvp. It’s smart the know you will flock there, that’s like saying a lion hunting gazelles at a pond isn’t fair. They know you are coming there so they wait.

Yeah, wasn’t the originally what the community was asking for. Wanted Classic but with more content at the end. Also the creators said it was suppose to still represent the spirit of Vanilla. not for “WoW” players. Obviously that was a bold face lie. But its still what they said.
All wow versions are for anyone with a subscription.
SoD is a season of era - aka the current vanilla season. It isn’t called classic+, nor is it called retail-, nor is it anything else except Season of Discovery. Just like we had Season of Master before, it is another season of Era.
So sure you can ask for a bunch of retail features, but people will keep telling you to go back to retail because this isn’t retail it is a season of vanilla.
Before asking for retail stuff, perhaps it is worth spending a bit of time pondering why so many retail players are currently playing SoD if retail is so great with all its features and QoL improvements.

Who needs a 10% damage buff?
That’s honestly the most hilarious part to me.
We are level 25, what content possibly “needs” a 10% dmg buff to complete?
And don’t say BFD because I just had a full 45 minute run, no deaths (except one, tank cheese on last boss) and no one needed DMF buff.

Kinda weird the spirt of Vanilla is just the spirit of WoW so it’s for ALL WoW players.
Disagree SOD is the test for Classic + which is WoW 2. I’m here to support SOD a new version of WoW. It’s not Vanilla or Retail. It’s just WoW.
QoL improvements helped the game tremendously but that isn’t what is wrong with Retail. RDF is the best feature ever added into an MMO. It made WoW a better game for the majority. Dual spec was an amazing feature that made the game better.
Vanilla is a great foundation to build an MMO then TBC/Wrath improved on Vanilla’s rough design and fixed Classes and the experience of an MMO overall.
So in SOD we are getting abilities and design from TBC, Wrath, WoD, Legion etc. Which is exciting that we can take what was good and put it onto the best foundation of the game in Vanilla.
- The main thing I’m looking forward too is Glad stance warrior from WoD. It was a great time to be alive. We are here in SOD to play old and new builds never seen before in WoW. SOD will be drastically different game in phase 2 going into 3. Which is exciting. Hope it gets wild and crazy and we get to see what WoW players love.
Classic + I feel is the future of WoW because ALL WoW players are waiting for WoW 2 and SOD leads to that.
