It does not appear to proc from Druid’s Abolish Poison either.

Hey Kami,

Something that occured to me: will the non-abolish versions of disease/poison removal proc Blue Dragon? I wonder if it not proccing is somehow tied to the debuff removal. Will try to test later today and report back here.

No. It doesn’t proc regardless. I tested for 20 mins dueling a hunter friend dispeling hunter’s mark on myself and it did not proc once.

That’s super unfortunate… Blue Dragon doesn’t stack with talents/3pc T2, and now it turns out that it doesn’t appear to even proc on cleanses (which is where you would expect it to shine)! Thanks for the bug report so that I know I’m not going crazy!

Today’s patch (7.17.20 build) did not fix it.

It’s probably not suppose to, if you go look at the difference in the two that don’t and the rest that do there is a clear filter difference.

If that’s the case, I think it would be nice if we could get clarification on if this is working as intended or not. The only requirement for it to proc according to the item description is, “on successful spellcast” which should work on cleanse spells.

Seems odd that it would specifically not proc on cleanses when it does proc on spells like buff casts and mind vision, for example.

Not really, they aren’t coded the same.

Sorry, can you elaborate a bit on this?

Bump, will this be addressed in the naxx patch? Scarab brooch is also bugged.
