Darkmoon Buff

Should persist through death for the duration of the time limit. It’s frustrating while leveling to die to crap and then have to come back to Stormwind to go again and get the buff.

IMO the darkmoon faire buff should be last for the whole week and persist through death. Huge qol change, super fun!

but then nobody would ride the rollercoaster anymore

Its the Merry Go Round for me anyways.

I understand the feeling. I would probably ride it a little less because I get dizzy!

Should be like the Anniversary tokens. It’s not like 10% is a game breaking buff :man_shrugging:t4:

Yeah that would be so cute, you know how there are pet battle weeks and whatnot? The darkmoon faires could be like “leveling” weeks! Of course not as powerful as the pet battle weeks as not to devalue leveling on the other weeks.

I haaate that it doesn’t persist through death! My Voidwalker is still learning how to be their best self, and that sometimes affects me as well. My human warlock’s is a little better, but she’s at 60 and doesn’t have to worry abotu experience points any.

That’s why you buy the Darkmoon Faire Hats.

? excuse me?

You should try to avoid dying.

Sigh.

There are hats you can buy for 10 Darkmoon Tickets that give you the same buff as the merry-go-round and rollercoaster.

Right but I don’t do DMF stuff except for the xp/rep buff…You need tickets to buy those…ie, doing DMF activities…

just a suggestion, but you could always try to dedicate a little time to do some of the really quick dailies there…(some of them only take like 2 min…and if you’re already on the island…)

pretty sure some of the boxes drop a darkmoon top hat, which can always serve as a good backup if you die and lose the buff.

plus it does a magical thing when the buff expires :revolving_hearts:

I’m voting for this one.

If you are leveling things, the Profession quests are VERY easy and grant 5 prof points per quest. It starts with your most current newest profession tier, then works backwards. Can help fill in gaps and grants free tickets essentially.

Just remember to bring your flour or whatever else you need before you get to faire.
