I got into the Darkmaul Citadel Dungeon just fine. All was going well until I died and accidentally left the dungeon instead of running back to where the fight had left off. Now I am stuck outside the dungeon, unable to group find or get back inside.
I tried abandoning the quest, logging out, exiting game, resigning in and re-accepting the quest and still can’t enter. When I try to group find it says “1 or more players have left your group, do you want to find another group” or something along those lines. However selecting okay does nothing. Hiding the message is all that I can do. Is there any other way to progress? I am stuck :((
Resetting the instance might work, right click your character portrait and there should be a reset all instances option in the drop down that opens. If that doesn’t work it’s probably just a bug with group finder.

I know this is an older post, but the same thing just happened to me. I thought I was going to have to delete my character, but I figured it out:
Right click on your character and leave any group you may be in. Then, reset all instances, abandon the quest and accept it again. This should allow you to join a new group in the Group Finder.

I had the same issue, leaving the group, resetting instance, disabling addons, reloading ui, worked for me.
