Why can you not turn in the dark scourge stones now? I have been saving them up and went to turn them in and that option is no longer there.
The daily quest to collect scourgestones gates the ability to turn in extras for whatever bizarre reason. Finish it again and the options will appear.
So they force you to do the dailies. LOL ok thanks
Only one! I’d recommend just farming mobs near Sindragosa’s Fall for the green scourgestones; I finish the quest pretty quickly doing that. The blue ones that drop from the rares only give 10-20% progress still despite giving you a big pile of them so the rares are not “efficient” for the daily itself.
Yes, but the dailies give commendations, which is the ultimate point of farming all those scourgestones anyway.
May I ask what’s the purpose of the scourgestones? I don’t see the reset of rep for it.
Converting to Argent Commendations to buy the “catch-up”/mog gear. The sets for each armor class are a previously-unused recolor of the original Arathi warfront sets.
Omg,not again
Parts of it are previously unused. For example, the blacksmithing plate uncanny set is identical to the new argent set, but the argent stuff has the helm, shoulders, chest and a different belt. So it’s not really worth farming commendations if you already unlocked the mogs for the uncanny set pieces (gloves, bracers, boots, pants), unless you specifically want the “name” on the Argent set.
Are you sure they’re unused? When I looked on one of my characters I already had most of the transmogs that he was selling and was instantly disappointed.
I have zero pieces of the plate set; as mentioned above there’s a blacksmithing set that has a few pieces but clearly I haven’t touched any of them. Haven’t looked at the other armor classes but wouldn’t surprise me if the story is similar.
Hm. Well I was on a Horde leather character, so maybe that’s different then.
You probably unlocked some of the mogs with uncanny leather gear. Not sure if it’s the same for other armor classes, but the helm, shoulders, chest and belt Argent pieces were new mogs.
Perfect game design. First, you get the quest and collect 10 or so stones. You get a follow up to convert the stones into tokens. Then you convert all the stones into tokens.
The next day, the NPC totally forgets who you are because of the raging blizzard and is suffering from hypothermia. Then he makes you collect ten or more stones again, which you do, because he makes you and has no idea who you are… and you do it all over and over again for the next two weeks.
BUT! If you try to turn in pitch black scourgestone he’ll give you the tokens and then he’ll stop talking to you. Because he desperately needs warmth.
Truthfully, he’s just cold. All of this is intended and not buggy gameplay. Wear a proper coat when you go outside kids. Don’t end up like Veteran Crusader Aliocha Segard.
These were most of the pieces I actually already owned.
I’ll have to check my other toons later and see how different the cloth/leather/mail set mogs are.
