What would you choose for our next hero class a dark ranger or a tinker? For me Dark Ranger all of the way! Ever since they turned marksman hunter into a joke of a spec another bow class is much needed!

Dark ranger is basically an undead hunter, we already have that.
Tinker is basically another ranged dps, we already have a lot of that. But, interestingly enough the Tinker class would have to steal elements from both Hunters and Rogues.
If Tinkers are placed in the game I think it’d actually upset some players, just like Warlocks had a lot of their abilities taken away and given to other classes.
Who knows, if I had to pick though I guess the Tinker would be more interesting, but again, who knows.

I don’t see how tinker would be pruning my class unless you mean taking bombs and hooks away from survival. But it wouldn’t be near as bad as what dark ranger would take away from MM and BM.
Dark rangers are not hunters and wouldn’t play anything like a hunter. I would assume they would be fast paced magic dmg
Thematically yeah, that’s what I mean. Bombs, traps etc. etc.
Neither as both their roles would require stripping another class of a spec.

I’m not arguing for it. That’s just my prediction.
They would be a ranged DPS class with a bow, their abilities would involve a bow and they would be undead. Dark rangers would be an undead Hunter and we already have those.

How is a ranged shadow archer not “anything like a hunter” especially a MM hunter? Add black arrow and shadow beast back in and there you do a Dark Ranger.

I would think a dark ranger would Be a very mobile magic/shadow dmg maybe dots as well. As of right now mm is a boring slow sniper turret so I doubt they’d conflict at all

I think if frost DKs/frost mages, destro locks/fire mages, and paladins/priests can coexist, we can have more than one class that uses bombs.
Personally I’d rather have a Spellblade class so we can have the Spellbreaker, Blademaster, and Warden class fantasy rolled into one.

Your argument is dumb. So warlocks are basically a mage because they both cast spells ? I guess since there are undead mages we now don’t need warlocks!? Lul
You just described BM hunter. Also MM used to have the shadow dot and have the magic attacks… Really it is just a reskin of MM so I highly doubt that is going to happen.

I would love to see a Spellblade, I’d get behind that idea, even though I think Tinker could work, Spellblade would be pretty nice.

Fundamentally yes Warlocks and Mages are the same thing, but with dramatically different themes.
