Has anyone checked to see if Dark Pact scales with spell power yet?
Theres a comment on the wowhead page for Dark pact Rank 1 that suggested spell power scaling of dark pact was added in Patch 1.12.1
But still unsure and not keen to spend 100g to find out
There is no spec where Dark Pact is worth taking outside of leveling. You are already 60 so its already a thing of that talent not being worth what you give up in other trees to go 31 aff.

Except you didn’t answer their question.
It won’t scale until TBC and don’t trust them actually following patch content changes. Video proof from 2006 of certain proc weapon effects scaling with spellpower but the single Blizzard intern says, “iT doEsn’T maTch oUr rEfereNce cLient”.

Pretty much nothing people claimed scaled with spellpower actually scales with spellpower in Classic. For whatever reason, all those idiot guides were written in reference to a specific patch where stuff accidentally scaled and was later fixed by Blizzard.
Listen to this yummy, delicious, scrum-diddly-umptious, totally edible Gnome.
Whether or not (and I don’t think it did) is irrelevant, as Dark Pact is a waste of a point.
Classic didn’t reach patch 1.12.1. You can tell this by the mount system, which was changed in that patch but isn’t in Classic. Also, warlock minions don’t have voiceover. They stopped at 1.12.
Either their “reference Client” is a piece of … or they just bring that trash up everytime they feel like it. The guard range and the argent sentry’s in LHC currently are another great example of 100% not being accurate.

Wondering if that was done for PVP servers. I remember on Arthas-US during my relevel mid-way through TBC’s release. That Horde would use blind spots in the neutral areas to snipe you and avoid guard aggro.
But it is pretty funny to see these guards with the zoomies.
((Who knew we’d have Horde flagging on Pagle!
