You should have to use a pet for pact to be usable in stun. Other pet centric abilities work like that. Imp dispel, felhunter kick, axe toss, roar of sacrifice, masters call, etc. Gosac pact doesn’t make as much sense because it’s not the pet doing the thing any more. You can’t use the pet sac kick in a stun either.
It’s also weird that there is so little upside in using a pet as affy, too. You get a way bigger pact because of the + health, and the add-on modifiers to the pet talents on the class tree make it do a strangely high percentage of affys damage. You would think that it would be a bigger choice considering that using a pet would enable the huge DR from the normal soul link functionality, but it’s just not. You’re better off in all situations not using the pet.
