which one is better. i like dark irons but i don’t like how portals make the mole machine kinda useless.
DID is for shamans. Velves are for locks and mages.

Uh I like Void Elf mage. No pushback while casting is nice. Blink +Their void teleport is fun to work with and the bonus damage that you don’t really have to do anything with nice. Also the Tmog reduction isn’t half bad.

void elf definitely fits better and the racials are better, but dark iron are wayyy cooler plz dont contribute to the elf epidemic

Just a reminder, Dark Iron are the reason Bronzebeards got Warlocks. 
Personal choice for me, Dark Iron. While I love Elven culture and land, playing one doesn’t interest me.
Oh, another reason to play a Dark Iron. Heritage plate armor on a caster.

Honestly make 1 of each and play them for 10 levels each and then the answer will be apparent.

Well you can have fiery eyes , ash colored skin and FIRE all over the place oooorrrr you can be a n’zoth juice powered elf.
Not really a tough choice. 
This is not true sis, only a couple of locations are shared with portals. The boon of the mole machine is to complement portals with extra locations that nobody have direct access to.
