Racials are nominal in their affect. It depends on the type of content and if you are truly a Savant at your class. It really doesn’t matter.
Dark Iron have a slight edge (and cool glowy beards) but it’s not significant.

Both are good. Dark Iron is a bit better for damage, but all dwarves are great.

depends on the content
Dark irons have a small dps cooldown that removes, poisons, disease, magic,bleed, and curses and stacks depending on how many are removed.
Dwarves have a small defensive cooldown 10% that removes bleeds, poisons, disease, magic, and curses. a 2% increase to crit damage and healing
Overall, id say DI beat our old dwarves for most specs for most content except for pve healers whom focus on crit. (mistweaver, resto shaman, holy priest)
but that’s just me looking and not simming

Dwarves are better if you dont like using active racials (or forget to) with the passive buff. The active buff can be good if used right. Dark Iron have some of the coolest racials and looks in game.
Except it does. That’s why there are more horde than alliance, as before, there were way more humans, but horde had racials that put them ahead of situations like goblin rocket jump or blood elf “mass dispel” or humans free pvp trinket nerfed to oblivion, or dwarf tanks to remove bleeds (as those are impossible to dispell) or orcs as warlocks and hunters for the pet damage buff and bloodfury baked into their macros

There are more horde because the pool of better players are Horde. Even Limit Max has stated several times that Alliance by far have the better racials - its just that it is too expensive to do mass guild transfers plus you leave said pool of good players behind.
So not it doesn’t really matter.

Didn’t that heavy swap come in for Legion? When people race transferred/made to horde for their better racials and now, have to use what they have?
Plus, your comment doesn’t actually say anything, you’re implying Ali has better racials, while I say there are very good racials for horde, so that means, ali has even better, isn’t that now a factor to consider when picking your class? A troll gets 10% haste for 10 seconds, which is very significant. BloodFury is equivalent to a trinket in damage and can be cast off the GCD for neat macros. The pet damage increase is great considering there are classes who rely heaviliy on their pet damage, BM hunters, Demo locks, Unholy. At start, most PvP were humans bc of their free trinket, with a blood elf, you don’t need a dispell every 2 minutes, as well as getting crits more often, good for crit reliant classes. Taurens have a baseline 2s stun in AoE, which can help considering the current meta for M+ is Mage-Vengeace DH-Boomkin-Hunter-Prot Pala, no AoE stuns (maybe the resto shaman also popular, but at best, once every 34 seconds with talent and conduit, so always past the stun DR)

Mechagnomes and Dark Iron have the strongest DPS racials currently. Everyone’s still Horde because the increases are too negligible to reverse the flood that started in MoP.

explain your reasoning?
when i look at the entire question in context, “are” is correct.

in every instance, “are” is the right word.

2% extra crit dmg at all times or big boost to main stat for 8 seconds every 2 minutes…
depends on the class i assume but if i check ele shaman for example, normal dwarf sims better.
