Im in BRD and the quest is not appearing for Dark Iron Ore smelting.

I’m not sure what “appearing” you were expecting.

Here’s a precise guide from Wow-Professions.

Summary:

  • Be Mining 230 or higher
  • Have 20 Gold bars, 10 Truesilver bars, and two Star Rubies with you
  • Enter BRD
  • Make your way to the chamber of the Seven
  • Talk to Gloom’rel
  • Activate the Chalice to accept the quest
  • Complete the quest, surrendering the metal and gems you brought with you
  • Talk to Gloom’rel again

Now you know Dark Iron Smelting. Since you’re in the neighborhood, make your way to the Black Forge and smelt all the Dark Iron you brought with you.
