I have a question about dark iron lore. I made and boosted a night elf mage so i can rp him with a mate of mine. That mate has since quit wow so iv been thinking of changing him to a dark iron
My question is. Lets say a dark iron dwarf was born after the events of the war of the three hammers (around the time they accidentaly summoned rag) how old would that dark iron be and what are some essential things id need to know?
According to the most accurate timeline I can find the War of the Three Hammers started in -230 BDP. The Dark Irons summoned Ragnaros at the tail end of the war but there doesn’t seem to be anything stating a more specific frame of time.
Apparently this event caused creation of the Burning Steppes, Searing Gorge and Blackrock Mountain from the Redbridge Mountains, where the summoning took place.
Prior to the summoning the clan had a city named after their leader, Sorcerer-Thane Thaurissan, which apparently lasted for years before their attempted attack on Grim Batol; which the summoning followed.
Addendum: It has occurred to me that some of the things I mentioned may not actually be essential, but rather simply useful. Either way it works.
