I am a Dark Iron dwarf with lava that runs through my veins, why do I take fire damage?
Why does the void hurt me, or fel, for that matter, since I’m a warlock and summon fel myself…
A resistance to specific elements based on class or race could be nice.
I think it is because the fire is very, very cold for you.
While it is technically fire, you are really taking cold damage.
Why do the peasant Sin’dorei prostrate themselves at my feet, and the succulent Orc’s beg to serve me? Who really knows.

A good handful of the playable races are resistant to some elements but immune to them.
The human body is about 80% water, but we can still drown or suffer water posioning.
I’m undead. I still die.
So… yeah.
i wonder the same. i mean i take baths inlava and have mixed lava ale for crying out loud
lavada kedavra
Why can’t I truly bite ankles?
Ooh, Ishnu Alah weary, Grimblaze, uhgn, is that a 2H weapon you have there, or are you just pleased to see me? Ooh, you’re clearly too hot to handle
Ready to serve!
same reason you can light a camp fire in a lake.
Same reason that a fireball can hurt a fire elemental… it’s magic fire (aka game mechanics).
