I played a bit during BfA and did start the Ready for War achievement. I stopped playing after finishing Nazmir and Vol’dan footholds. I just picked up Dragonflight and want to create a Dark Iron Dwarf, so I finished Zuldazar foothold and now I’ve been given the Uniting Kul Tiras quest.
Do I have to farm rep in order to finish Ready for War? I don’t have a question for Blood on the Sand. It just seems odd that it would require so much farm time on rep to unlock after so many years.
I just need to get friendly with Proudmoore and Tiragard to finish this quest. If I do need to finish it then I’d love recommendations on how to get friendly with these two factions the quickest. Thanks!
Yes, on your very first character you need to get the 3 zone reps to friendly to complete Uniting the Isles. (After the first character, any later characters get the easy version of “Uniting Kul Tiras” that you can just turn right back in.)
The fastest way to get the rep is to just do the main questlines for the zones until you hit friendly. (Order of the Embers is a bit weird as you don’t get any rep for the first part of the zone, but then you get to the part in the story where you actually form the Order of the Embers and get a big chunk of rep all at once — enough for friendly.) Once you hit friendly, you can move onto any other zones you need rep for. Just head back to the Scouting Map in the harbor master’s office.
Remember that the Darkmoon Faire is currently up, so make use of the 10% rep buff.
