Lore wise how does this work? Was lvling and just tried to research it but to no avail.
same way anyone else becomes a paladin
from wowwiki so take with a gain of salt
Just like the dwarves of Ironforge, some Dark Iron dwarves have adopted the values and philosophy of the Church of the Light, becoming followers and practitioners of the Holy Light. Their Queen, Moira Thaurissan, joined the Conclave as a priestess with Betild Deepanvil and other Dark Iron priests.[14]Dark Iron priests were also present in the Arathi Highlands, during the Battle for Stromgarde, fighting alongside the Alliance. Some of them also joined the ranks of the Silver Hand, notably the Champion of the Light Frida Ironbellows, accompanied by Anointed Disciples and the Darkforged Crusader during the Battle of Dazar’alor. The paladin Nella Slagheart fought against the Horde soldiers with the order’s tabard in Arathi Basin.
They’ve been around since BRD. One of the bosses in the ghost dwarf encounter is a dark iron who uses pally abilities
Very true, also Fineous Darkvire in BRD was a dark iron pally.
Which I was very disappointed to learn. When I made mine I’d just assumed it was their kind of fire worship. That’s still my head canon for her.
The playable Dark Irons decided following Ragnaros was a mistake, so they’re more aligned with the other dwarf clans. I think that’s mostly covered in the allied race recruitment scenario, but it’s been a couple years now since I did it so I might not recall everything.
Thanks. Was just kind of weird being a paladin of the light but an evil dwarf? Come to find out I don’t think they are inherently evil. Just a different dwarf clan
A paladin is a champion of an ideology who possesses both martial prowess and spiritual zeal for said ideology.
Whether the ideology is ‘good’ or ‘evil’ is subject to debate and POVs. Humans enslaved orcs, orcs invaded human lands in an attempt to find a better life. Were those human paladins good or bad? Probably good in the eyes of other humans, probably evil in the eyes of the orcs being kept in camps against their will.
Not all paladins have to be lawful-stupid, basically.
You apply, right? I read only about 40% of applicants get accepted and the other 60 well. Hunter.
