So I got the armor a long time ago and later race changed the character.
Can I change it back and still get the weapons or are people right that it wont let you access the quest even if you change the original character back to Dark Iron?
I dont think you can do that achievement more than once so that would mean you cant simply level up a replacement toon either.
Is this all intended and are people who race changed after getting the armor out of luck?
The fact that any race can transmog the appearances makes is suck a bit more to currently not be able to earn these.
If you race changed that Dark Iron to something else it’s a good bet that the system won’t recognize him as being suitable for the new quest if changed back.
Probably safer to just level a new one if you want that quest.
Are these weapons, once unlocked, usable by anyone? Or only Dark Iron? Before I level a new one (somehow my level 47 was perma deleted), I’d like to know. Because if they’re Dark Iron only, while Nightborne ones are for everyone, then I’m not going to bother.
Anyone currently yes. Saw horde players saying they were surprised they could transmog to it. Might need to do some more research though would suck if it weren’t true and you invested the time on account of my feedback.
@Threllion yes but that toon didnt earn the armor and it specifies on the toon that earned it but isn’t it a one time achievememt? I dont want to level a other toon if they cant earn the weapons.
The weapon (and mount) quests start with Anvil-Thane Thurgaden by the black anvil in the Shadow Forge City version that is accessible via the Dark Iron racial mole machine.
