At this point they should just give that elf model every skin there is in the game.

A few of the new skins also had an asian-kind of skin tone. It was more obvious on some of the races than others. I think this is a long overdue change and helps wow keep pace with many similar games. While many people don’t care that much (I would be one of those), I know many people want to play characters they feel are extensions of themselves and choosing a skin color close to their own RL skin is part of that feeling.

We had Dark Elves with Nightborne, and now NE are also getting a real black, too.
But if we count the brown one, we then have Dark Humans, too :P.

You’re wrong, its actually World of Furcraft.
Tauren, Worgen, Vulpera, Highmountain, and Panda’s on BOTH factions.
Elf races are out numbered by furry races.

As amusing as the antics of our beloved elven allies are, I wonder if perhaps now is the time to give them … their own area. A very nice alienage with all the amenities, so they can, you know, be on their own and do all the dress up and arcane cosmetics they want without bothering anyone
