Dare I speculate?... Blizzard Renaissance?

Blizzard stated at Blizzcon 2019 that they knew they messed up with various things and that they were committed to changing. We have now gotten a decent level of communication, a more active beta, Blizzard rumblings of better treatment of employees, and an expansion that clearly needed more time was delayed, harkening back to the days of the Blizzard of old…

Are we witnessing a rising from the ashes you guys?

No, they probably though they could squeeze what they had out on the 26th but the massive amount of negative feed back made them drop a load in their pants. So now they’re gonna scramble for 2 months to try to fix things. lol

They didn’t respond in the monk class forums for 4 months. Yeah, some great listening.

Not really…?

They were never reduced to ashes either.

You need only look at the state of BFA and how they handled Warcraft III Reforged to have your answer.

I’m guessing it’s partly because SL isn’t ready but i wouldn’t be surprised if the release of the new Xbox and Playstation had something to do with it, not to mention some pretty big games are dropping at the same time (Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch_Dogs: Legion).

Generally speaking, if there’s a really congested period of time for gaming, studios will delay their games to give them some more breathing space.

What they said was more like, “We recognize that players are disappointed. We will try to take these things into consideration in the future when planning.” This was basically not a commitment to anything.

The reason they delayed is because SL is currently broken in too many ways to simply release and fix.

Nah; More like Blizzard-Black Plague.

They’re being slowly eaten inside by Activision, and all the senior staff have left to work with Mike Morheim at Dream-Haven, and more are talking about leaving by the day.

Don’t know what you drank, but can I have some?
