While fighting the final boss “Rasha’nan” in the “The War Within” dungeon “The Dawnbreaker”, I was not able to cast Dancing Rune Weapon and I kept getting the error “There is no path to that creature” or something like that.
Recreate:
Blood death knight, they come with dancing rune weapon
Fighting Rasha’nan
Cast Dancing Rune Weapon and see if error pops up
Can confirm, trying to use Dancing rune weapon on Rasha’nan the entire time and dancing rune weapon would not activate at all.
There was no error at all, it simply did not activate.
Also confirm that this bug still exists with Heroic release. I’ve submitted multiple bug reports during Beta access for both heroic and mythic plus content. This is a large issue for Blood Death Knights when Season 1 starts as they will be extremely vulnerable during phase 2.
I’m trying to get Blizzard to even note that there is a problem and if they are working on it, understanding that this may not be a simple bug fix.
Was coming to report the same thing. So glad Im not the only one experiencing it. No matter how many times I run the dungeon I always get the “No Path Available” error when casting Dancing Rune Weapon in Phase 2.

Can also confirm, Dancing Rune Weapon isn’t usable after he flies down from the ship in Dawnbreaker. Definitely needs to be fixed before m+.
Also having this problem, Dancing does not find a path for the entire phase after he flies down. I’ve tried every angle, inside or outside the boss, no matter the range. Pinging in the hope blizz fixes so BDK is playable.
Can confirm still an issue please fix it
