I’ve been trying to get the damp note to start the quest allegiance to the old gods, yesterday i was farming the mob with a friend and he saw 2 damp notes drop on mobs we killed and I couldn’t see the note on either mobs. I submitted a ticket to ask about it and they suggested many things that i tried then to do, re zoneing, dropping quest(no quest to drop?), diabling addons, checking fansites, checking wow forums… i did all of these and im still having issues having the damp note drop, I have completed and turned in the essence of aku’mai before i started looking into how to get this “damp note” and it seems like theres a problem if you dont have this quest? im also seeing others who have had issues with this quest. My last ticket response was to post in here and to submit a bug report. getting to the end of my patience with this problem
Did you end up every getting it? I did the same route, been farming since first lockout but no note. Its not a huge upgrade so I put it off but the completionist in me wants to get it done before the phase is over. FYI I’ve gotten the note on alts no problem. Not sure why my main has had these issues.
