level 80 fury warrior in the new tww dungeons the level 72-78s are doing 3 million dps the level 80s can barely break 200k theres some serious scaling issues
working as intended
who knows if they’ll bother tweaking it, but it sure feels ridiculous to get less powerful as you level up
I just did a normal to check one out and the low level frost DK was at 3 mill to my 300k. Couldnt get a spell off lolol
The only surprising thing here is that anyone’s surprised that a 520 ilvl at 70 is much more powerful than a 540 ilvl at 80. Did any of you look at what happened to your secondary stats as you leveled up?
Thats how scaling works. To them they’re doing 300k, but to you they’re doing 3 million. BTW this is how it is for all leveling dungeons for a while now. When was the last time anyone has leveled up outside of expansion special events?
Been that way every single expansion so far though, just how it goes.
Why do you have DPS meters turned on in normal 5 man dungeons?
whats the point of disablign an addon?
What about when the level 80s are doing 800k DPS and everyone else is doing 70k DPS?
To gauge how we’re progressing against the competition? Just a thought.
Competition? In normal leveling dungeons? Knowing full well how scaling makes DPS meters very deceiving and wonky?
Just a thought.
To really drive the point home, this is how the same NPC followers who barely even registered on the meter at 70 in S4 gear stack up now.
Leveling in a new expansion is effectively a gear reset for anyone who spent time progressing at max level. TWW players are now in pre-raid gear at best, and generally just leveling gear for the most part.
Man elite WoW gamers are so bored they’re trying to see how fast they can speed run normals while they level up 50 80s just to brag about it.
Meanwhile I’m over here reading quest text and just bobbing it up through the zones getting Sojourner. I learned the importance of picking up air ship poop.
