Daisy Pet?

Anyone else find it annoying having to re-summon the sloth every time you mount/dismount?

Let Daisy stay on your back when mounting up

We got Daisy, she’s awesome and cute but doesn’t stick around if you get on a mount. Most people traverse the in-game world by mount. Let’s get her staying while mounted. You can /beckon her while on a mount but she just approaches you and then disappears entirely. Might even be a bug.

Might even be a bug based on her behavior if you try to /beckon while mounted, so I posted a bug report as well.

Something else I noticed though, you can have Cap’n Crackers on your shoulder along with Daisy on your back at the same time lol.

Yes I also noticed that upon mounting Daisy disappears from your back. This is lazy programing and quite disappointing. I hoped to have Daisy ride my back as I trotted around on my mount.

She despawns if you mount, and as a sloth, is far too slow to actually follow you if you dont have her on your back. Hopefully they fix this.

So this addon will continually resummon Daisy if she is on your back, which pops her off your back, every time you move.

I had to add a small code change in my pet auto summoning addon that doesn’t summon Daisy if I have the Daisy buff up. Same thing for Capn’ Crackers.

Damn annoying to say the least…Daisy should stay on our backs while mount…if they can do it with Capt Crackers or Pepe they can fix it for Daisy…

Summoned her once… Beckoned her… Switched to cat form and she disappeared. I guess she can just sit in the Pet Collection tab.

Here’s another cool mod for pets, mounts, toys and titles. Can set it up so as soon as you walk your chosen pet will auto summon. Has a heap of cool options.

So I did AQ40 with all my little buddies, then got swallowed by C’Thun - Cap’n Crackers, Pepe and another pet stayed with me, but Daisy is gone, I guess she’s gone forever now.

Its the way it was coded that it prevents it from staying on you, nothing can be done about it.

I finally uploaded my companion pet autosummoning addon to Curse. It’s waiting approval form mods and it won’t summon Daisy if you have her on your back. It’s called EasyPets.

Note: If you are having trouble summoning her it’s because she’s off in Timbucktu trying to follow you.
