Did I miss the note that we were getting daily server shutdowns? I make it that we’ve had a shutdown every day this week.

I mean the expansion did launch 2 days ago and so far the servers have been way better than past launches, so can’t complain too much about 2hr maintenance really. I mean I have had almost 0 DCs and really no lag (which is crazy for a WoW expac launch)

It was posted on the launcher last night, 7am to 9am pacific
There definitely was not a notification when I logged in after work this morning, wasn’t even logged in for 5 minutes and got the in game shutdown notification

Nm, that link was Tuesday. Unless community posted it and did not update the date.
You should be under the wow page in the launcher, it’s not posted under the quick launch page.
Tbh, I’m sure I saw something about in on the launcer the day before in the mornnig but it seems they didnt keep that message there afterwards. I didn’t get a message when I logged in this morning to play, just server shut down 15:00.
That being said, the servers were really slow the first day of release comapred to the pre-release for the chosen few. To the point the auto loot function was taking 2-5 seconds and quest turn ins were incredibly slow…Today it wasn’t like that at all. I have had issues with picking up new quests from NPCs who I just returned a quest from, but it seems to be an ongoing issues.
If it keeps the servers healthy and playable, and it’s needed, then do it!
The lag in the main cities as been incredibly bad, up to 30 secs at a time. It might not sound a lot but thats the duration of most spells and is fatal during combat. Its been bad since remix and hasn’t got any better tbh.
Tuesday is maintenance shut down so why didn’t they do it then?
I would like to know if this information will return to the quick launch page. It was there until the new interface took over.
Is this your first WoW expansion launch experience? If so, this happens the first week or two of pretty much every single expansion that has come out to date.

They have determined that leveling is too easy and they are changing how things scale to make leveling harder
They said shut down from 7 to 9 AM pacific. It is now 10 Pacific. Still down

It got extended to 10 am Pacific a couple hours ago, now it is extended to 10:30 am. Check your Launcher.
So now its been extended for an hour and a half are we going to get another free day- LOL!
Just because it happens every expansion doesn’t make it right.

I haven’t seen a single maint notification on the launcher since the prepatch dropped. I had no idea why the servers are down until i came here to see people complaining.

I was unsurprised to find a shutdown notice this morning when logging in. Looks like you were right. Hoping it doesn’t become the norm.

Same here. I almost never get maintenance notices anymore. I need to keep coming here to see if anyone has said anything about it, and how long it’s supposed to be down for. The main chances I get to play just keep falling within the downtime too.
Is there somewhere on the forums that these server downtimes are posted…so that those of us not seeing the notice in the launcher can find that info somewhere else?
