On my realm (Remulos - Oceanic) the dailies reset at 1:00am server time.
The random dailies (Dungeon, Cooking, Fishing) don’t change until 8:00am server time.
This means if I do one in the afternoon, it’s Always the same one available the next morning.
Why the difference? intentional or bug?
Is the changing of dailies at 8:00am the same for all servers?
I’d like to know for my addon which shares the currently dailies - but is currently resetting them at the reset time (which I’ve recently discovered is wrong)
Thanks.
NA servers are doing the same thing, although I’m not sure exactly what time the switch happens or if it’s off by the same amount of time.
I play on Mankrik and daily heroic and dungeon reset at 9am EST (realm time) but the reset for them if you did them the day before is 11am EST (realm time). This has to be a bug
From the information I’ve gathered so far it seems that ;
US dailies reset at 8:00am PST
EU dailies reset at 8:00am CET
But the quests change at 8 or 9am SERVER time depending on daylight savings.
According to https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/game/status/bcc-us there are 6 different server times
So this is a problem for all severs except those on US West
In the Continental U.S., DST starts in 2022 on begins on March 13 at 2:00 am (always the first Sunday in March no matter what the year) and ends on November 6 at 2 am (First Sunday in November no matter what year). The Times zones (brought about by the Railroads to keep trains from hitting each other) are: EST (3 hours different as I’m in PST which is 0 aka -8), CST is 2 hrs different, and MST is 1 hr. Difference.
Not sure where everyone else is getting their intel, but this is indeed correct.
