All your cap did was hurt actual players in the first place. Bots did not care.

Completely disagree. Tokens do nothing but associate real world cash to every action within the game and its done legally through the game.
Buy a token for glad carry. Buy a token for raid carry. Buy token for dungeon carry.
I know the forums love hyperbole but not everyone has to buy gold and creating a legal way to buy gold doesnāt make the game better. It just cements it as pay to win and encourages the boosting meta you see in retail.

This is a very good move. Now please give us guild banks.
Classic already has a boosting metaā¦ 90% of the runs on my server are GdKP where items go for upwards of 10-15kā¦ If you arenāt buying gold you are getting left out and probably already quit. Not saying every server is like this butā¦ Iām willing to wager a lot are.
My server i play on with alliance barely has any gdkps. Really depends on the server. Plus Iād go as far to say the token is why retail gold has no value. Classic gold will lose value with a token imo.
Besides with so many things needed for power spikes that you can buy early tbc will give players the ability to make gold off all these gdkps. Since thereās no token those gdkps increase market share of gold which can lead to inflated prices on heavy demand markets.
Tbc has more heavy demand markets then vanilla ever did.
Is the Account wide 5 Dungeon per hour, still going to be in place? Or removed as well?
first of all what server are you on because I literally am looking for alliance or horde servers (pvp) with decent pop overall and a decent population split between factionsā¦
second of all thats exactly why I want the wow tokenā¦ to make classic gold worthless.

And my point is these gdkps cause the market to be saturated with gold and then when markets with a heavy demand crop up, which will be a thing in tbc, it causes the price to inflate.
Now your primals are 100g ea instead of 30 ea. Cause the same people trying to buy it are the same ones who ran gdkps. Not perfect by any means but sure as hell beats making the credit card the best progression tool in an mmo.

that makes sense and does calm me a littleā¦ the idea of someone having to pay 100g for a primal because they helped destroy the economy is beautiful.
donāt get me wrong, I am completely against buying goldā¦ I dont want people to have the ability to buy goldā¦ my request for the token is PURELY out of literally knowing TONS of people in guild, on my server, in real lifeā¦ that actively buy gold on a semi-monthly basis.

there are no guilds on skeram really, we had a handful of speed running guilds but all thats left now is GDKP after onslaught left.
Ironically those servers will probably have more expensive mats than most for those very reasons. Wealth is relative. If the average has 1k or the average has 20k itāll make a significant difference on markets.

Then change servers you can transfer if itās ultimately disrupting your gameplay I know I would. Who wants to play with a bunch of people who sooner or later are going to get banned for buying gold.

exactly, me and the boys are looking to XFR off as soon as they provide a date that they will open up transfers again. I wish there was a better way to browse servers and see actual things about them besides rolling on them and asking questions.
They should be open today with the pre patch id assume

yeah thats what I was assumingā¦ they were a LITTLE sketchy about how they worded the announcement back on 04/30 when they turned the transfers off. Hopefully its sooner than later!

hey blizz while youāre here can we maybe get the unarmored epic mounts added in w/ TBC since you guys did not include them in OG classic under the idea that, āit would impact people leveling and force them to level faster to get the mount before it is removedā.
Please reconsider your previous ruling on this and add these magnificent art assets into the game so people can enjoy them again! THANK YOU!
