Addressing the "unintended?" nerf to feral powershifting

Patch 2.2: Power Regeneration: Any effect which triggers a change in your rate of power regeneration (Mana, Rage, Energy, Focus) will now cause an immediate reward of some power at the old rate of increase, and then begin new “ticks” of power at the new rate approximately 2 seconds later. TLDR: #SomeChanges EDIT 6/24: THEY FIXED IT! Energy and mana/health ticks are now separate on the beta. This makes energy behave similar to 2.0 and removes the “powerchugging” meta, which is exactly what we wanted. Cant wait for this go to live. The daily limit was a setting that we chose with great care last year, as we measured that it would impact an extremely low number of legitimate accounts, while giving us a helpful means to limit the impact of exploitative accounts before we could detect them and close them.

This is good news, but was the original implementation really done “with great care”? What was the actual impact of this dungeon limit on, say, actual botters versus ferals farming for crowd pummelers? Do you have figures you can share?
