Daily Chores not counting as daily, well...chores

The Daily Chores achievement for For The Children! does not seem to be counting pretty much anything.

Dailies in ZM do not count. World boss does not count. Treasures do not count. Rares for some reason DO count.

I was under the impression that “complete 5 daily quests” meant that you could, you know, count its progress by doing dailies?

Edit: before it gets asked, yes I had the orphan out for the entirety of the quests, including the moment of turn-in.

This happened to me as well. They were my last two quests for the Daily Chores achievement, which was the last achievement I needed for the What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been achievement. Extremely disappointed, because I didn’t realize the event ended at 10 am on Monday, so I did not finish the achievement. My plan was to go back and finish it after work in the evening.
