I understand Daggers having transmogging restrictions, can’t backstab with a mace and what not. However for everything else we should be able to use daggers for transmogging. You can transmog Two handed swords/maces/axes into staves/polearms so there is no argument left against it. Daggers themselves should be restricted yes but not other weapons transmogging into daggers.
Fully agree with this.
Its really limiting for transmog to have maces/axes/swords unable to turn into daggers. This should really be updated.
Priests get really screwed by this because they can only mog 1h maces and daggers, so whichever weapon type they use they can only mog to that specific weapon type since you cant mog maces into daggers.
We’re 20 years into WoW, this kind of restriction should not exist. I do understand not being able to mog a dagger into a mace since daggers have unique animations, but like you said it should absolutely be moggable in the opposite direction.
it’d be great if we could finally transmog our maces/axes/swords into daggers. Like the op said, its understandable that the actual dagger weapons themselves are restricted, but there is no reason that dagger transmog should be limited. It sucks to have a ton of appearances you’ve collected just unable to be used like that even though your class has the option for them.
Please open up dagger transmog so we can mog maces/axes/swords into daggers. Again, mogging daggers into maces/axes/swords makes sense to remain restricted due to specific animations made around the weapons themselves, but the other way around here does not make sense.
