I don’t care. Like the Onyx Annulet, I’m going to engage as heavily with this system as I do in peace negotiations between Earth and Sagittarius A.
The Annulet was garbage for me as a Mage, so maybe this one will be as well and I won’t bother.
It’s like AI is running the show based on the last expansion.
Fr. It started out nice but afte rlearning the awakening the machine was gutted from what it was (I hate doing that weekly) and other unfinished aspects, now this being just a repeat of DF I …feel like it isn’t worth my time.
The ring will be pushed as a compelling thing for players to go after, and either fail to deliver on that on its own or will end up actually being good, then get nerfed to ensure that it fails to deliver on that. Can’t have gear from outdoor content competing with mythic carrots lol

Annulet was bis for half the specs in the game in DF…
Casters didn’t want it cuz it didn’t have any stats. This one has stat gems.
Well, then you try making a whole video game without ever using the same object or system more than once lol
I’m fine if this is what they want to do. It’s going to be a nice little piece of extra power to help out a lot of us who aren’t mythic raiding or pushing keys past 10. It’ll make it more likely to try because the content will be a bit easier now. It’s just a minor version of corruption which many of us really enjoyed.
I think you mean Frieza planet 419… nobody ever talks to Frieza planet 419… not since the entire populace of the planet gained the miraculous ability to spoiler everything.
would it be better if they made it a helm? people would just complain about how it looks, on top of the usual complaints about borrowed power or whatever.
I just can’t wait for the cutting-edge, meta slaves to start whining about how it’s going to be a ‘must have’ item and then turn around and complain when Blizzard nerfs it.

i think it’s more likely some specs won’t want it at all if it launches with no secondary stats, and blizzard will have to buff it like crazy to make sure it gets used. just like with onyx annulet.
Not the point, this was a feature last expansion for a patch. Would be nice if they didn’t immediately do it again is all I’m saying. But please feel free to keep trying to reach and twist my intentions as far as you can. 
No just …a different feature entirely. Not a reskin of last xpac’s patch power system
