Cypher Research not working

Have unlocked the Cypher Research console, and cannot research nodes. I can click on them, the prompt comes up asking if I want to research, and if I hit “Accept” a sound plays and then it doesn’t start researching. I tried restarting, turning my addons all of then on, and nothing works.

I had one that wasn’t researching, ran away from the console, ran back and then it would research. I now have Cachial Understanding that straight up won’t research no matter what I do.

EDIT: I clicked on popopopopoc and clicked dimiss, it asked “Are you sure?” and then I clicked no. Then clicked the console and it researched. Might be worth just doing random actions like that to see if they can help.

Finally got the first one to research after dropping and picking up the quests like 3 times, but now that there’s no quest still won’t go forward. Turned off all addons, deleted WTF folder, tried random actions between nothing seems to work.

Same problem spent over a hour trying different things, finally got quest to finish but now cant do any upgrades

ran back and forth and cast a heal spell and it worked finally LOL

i’m currently having the same issue. ever since 9.2.

Its been 16 days since this was reported, when are they gonna fix this crap?

So I have 1k cyphers I can’t use because the console is not letting me research no matter what I do. Blizz still deciding not to address this issue?

I just spent 100 cyphers to upgrade, Tillic to rank 3 and it took the cypher, but the upgrade to rank 3 did not happen.
Lost cyphers, no upgrade. I logged and back in, no change.
This happened on my alt, Bindergineer.

I can’t test this to see if it works because I just researched the last talent I could take, but I tried clicking the console not in the middle of the console, but at the very bottom right before my cursor had the indication that I could click it. It then opened and I could research the last talent I needed.

Maybe it’s just that I opened and closed it enough times that it somehow worked finally, but it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try.
