Old gear won’t upgrade… gotta get new gear.
Except even after hitting 2/6, the gear still drops at 233, from the WQ available to me that appeared after I had reached 2/6, so it wasn’t like an old ilvl reward that had already been generated. It’s just flat out broke.
It seems you gotta hit a rep break point research breakpoints and wait for new WQs to generate…
I’m afraid that isn’t true. Have PhD, don’t understand new system.

I feel like now you’re just guessing. The WQ was generated after I had hit 2/6 research, and where is there any indication of any rep breakpoint?
The system is secretly time gated I’m 4/6 and still getting 233.
ticket it then i just put in a ticket about the gear not upgrading, the gear doesnt upgrade, and various other posts in other threads have been mentioning that the first break point is friendly in fact i think its even mentioned here?

So i just spent more points into research after hitting honored and being 2/6 just over 30 cypher points spent. The gear from one WQ was still 233, then after spending more but not hitting 3/6, the gear was upgrade to 239. Don’t know if that was intended or not, but having some type of table may help some. But then I did see someone was 4/6 and over 3000/6000 friendly and still not upgrading their gear to 239.
Why can’t blizzard just give us an answer? Do they not even know how it is supposed to work? Lol. I guess I’m quitting again this is annoying. They honestly don’t know what they’re doing.
