Can a druid with more than half a braincell explain how spammable cyclone in arena isnt OP? Playing as a healer in solo shuffle against an enemy druid healer is broken, its no wonder no one wants to heal solo shuffle. Being able to spam a cc that is multiple seconds each time is an overpowered joke and random dps in shuffle in the 1500 bracket arent going to be interrupting.
The cc nerf coming is a good thing, but really they should just remove cyclone completely or add an at least 5 second cooldown. Anyone who thinks cyclone isnt OP is a bias druid.

Two can play that game Paladin should be nerfed with it’s overheals, divine shield, huge damage, ability to lessen stun timers with an aura and so on.
But on a more serious note if you are complaining about cyclone it means you aren’t playing your class right. As paladin is very good at getting out of CCS and absorbs damage.
Even if I don’t pvp much myself, having played lot of other classes and knowing paladins current tool kit.
I’m surprised you are complaining about one CC that is very nichely taken. Also Cyclone can be interrupted from any type of stun or spell interupt lol.
I kind of find this thread funny though and I’m usually not the vindictive type. x3

Just kick it, kite out of the 20 yard range, OR use sacrafice before it lands for free shield.
Or hey, how about the classic…just dps more. Rdruid healing is so lackluster atm, even with full hots rolling and my team full health…going in for one clone and not spamming regrowths can literally cost the game.

This is genius. I must admit this move didn’t occur to me.
Spamming Cyclone over and over is advantageous. It takes the Druid out of the fight.
Imagine a 1v1 battle where a Druid spends all his mana just Cycloning you for 5 minutes straight. Who won the battle? No one. Everyone just AFKs
There’s also a range on the spell. And a caster timer. LoS, kick, out range.

Does anyone here know what diminishing returns even means? 
If anything, Boomkin needs defensive buffs in the current OP-melee-1%-of-a-braincell-meta (going by OP’s schema)
I am waiting for the ret nerfs so I can queue again without fear of being 2-shot by an immortal class. Their tyranny has gone unfixed for a month, making other classes lose hundreds of points while they literally got FREE rewards. Thousands of people quit the season as a consequence… and yet a Ret comes here, to the druid forums, asking for our only real hardcasted CC to be nerfed lmao. Def trolling.
I hope everyone can finish pushing for their seasonal goals in time.

the Developers heard your concern, and as a result, the mana Cost of Cyclone has been nerfed by 40%.
Thus Buffing the number casts that can be done by costing less to cast.
