Yea, it’s crazy the crowd control for a devoker is over a minute long and you need to use a talent point to get it to 45 seconds.
Yet, cyclone can be spammed and is a much better CC.
Different classes are different man. You can’t start comparing things in a vacuum.

Well, I was mostly comparing it to a boomkin which I think is fair. Cyclone I think has 20 yard range and devoker CC is on 25 yard range. Yet the boomkin can spam his cyclone.
And devoker root is on a one minute cooldown if I remember correctly and the boomkin root can also be spammed.

no. no it is not. any player with an IQ higher than room temprature can counter a feral and their clones. Feral has to shapeshift and cast a cc, in exchange for the missing uptime that couldve been spent dmging or healing they are in the wrong form casting. so they a dot for it
Ferals are extremly weak in terms of defensives and almost all classes can kill a fair feral matchup. as a hunter you should respectfully be quite because they tear thru feral.
And the evoker can triple stun, and force los, and one shot with cds/instant, and move while casting, and has a kick, and can immune cc, etc.
I’m just saying you can’t look at things in a vacuum. Cc is part of a spec’s “power budget” and not everyone has the same capability.

You’re right about beam, but honestly I don’t know if I’d even take instant clone for a 20-30s cd. I think being able to clone is more important to the kit than people realize; defensively especially. I mean we’d adapt for sure but that’d be a drastic change.
