hello everyone, i have been playing a build with cycle of hatred. its pretty solid, after eye beam spam chaos strike. i also picked up blind fury to have a lot of fury after the eye beam. i would say this could be a very good single target build for havoc dh. taking around 12 sec off of eye beam is very nice combining it with blind fury makes eye beam do massive damage . But since chaos strike only has a 40% chance to refund the fury it can be very annoying to play with. sometimes it can only go off one time. i do not like how its very rng reliant. making cycle of hatred baseline would be great because first blood would rival against Nemesis and can be a very good option if somehow blizzard could change it to give a flat percentage of damage bonus to the target. this gives us a bit more choice on what we want for single target dps.

If cycle baseline, far better design would be for it to reduce cd based on fury spent.
Most people are clamoring for bloodlet to be reintroduced to the talent tree. This is an aoe talent row (as stated by blizzard), so nemesis wouldn’t really make sense. That, plus nemesis was a boring ability. Don’t ever want to see it return
I do agree that some things should become baseline, but i’m not sure cycle is one of them. Cycle is nice but it fits what a talent does well so it’s fine to give people a choice if they want that or not. What needs to be baseline on that row is firstblood. Either firstblood needs to become baseline and baked into blade dance or blade dance needs a massive buff on its own to make it worth using without the talent.
Havoc dhs don’t have many abilities as it is already, and requiring an entire talent to make one of those abilities worth casting is incredibly bad and needs to be addressed.
Two abilities need to be introduced baseline:
- spammable aoe ability that replaces chaos strike with 2+ targets. This ability would proc blade dance to deal chaos damage, have its fury cost reduced to 15, and reset cd
- high ST damage ability with short cd. Personally, I like the idea of us having a fel bolt, instant cast ranged ability with two charges. Chaos strikes have a chance to reset a charge. Fel bolt could also apply a dot to target
First blood removed.
Distinguishing aoe rotation from ST. Both have proc mechanics that would be fun to press. Class is fixed

I really like and totally back the idea of gaining a couple abilities and opening up our rotation to a bit of diversity. I just don’t see it happening with Blizzard’s relentless design philosophy.
