The character creation in Cyberpunk is pretty cool. Not even just the fact you get full customization of your “Adult parts” it’s all just so detailed.
Kind of. Open world like GTA, but with a RPG story written by Witcher Devs.
Also skill trees and what not, typical RPG stuff.
At a guess…and a reach…its a shout out to the fallout universe maybe.
The great war begins in 2077. The bombs drop on Oct 23, 2077.
There’s only customization for the male parts. There is only one female “part.”
Which is pretty on par with that particular developer.
And they will have future back problems lol
Yeh until they fix my class I’m out. I enjoyed the campaign in SLS but I’m not going to run the wheel on a gimped class. So CP2077 it is until then.
Honestly the whole bit about genital customization from them seems more like a gimmick than anything else anyway.
It’s relevant to the genre, transhumanism etc. But then everyone is calling Cyberpunk 2077 “GTA,” I’m not surprised no one actually knows the source material.
Don’t plan to ditch WoW for it but will def be my happy place when WoW’s social aspects get too much.
Oddly, given I’ve read a lot of cyberpunk and was in a regular cyberpunk (2057 though) themed RPG (GURPS) group, I’m giving it a miss, at least for now.
Oh I know it’s one of the cornerstones of the genre.
I’m just saying it seems gimmicky from CDPR, especially considering they didn’t really go all the way with it.

Interesting that it’s called 2077. That’s only 57 years from now. Hard to believe that in 57 years we will all be using implants and mechanical arms. We are still trying to make it to Mars.

Well this whole year sorta threw things for a loop. Can’t get people here if they’re worried about getting sick or using it as an excuse not to work.
It’s not supposed to be “our future.” It’s it’s own universe from the tabletop rpg. Which is why it’s worrisome people keep calling it “GTA.”

Friendly advice for those fellow AC: Valhalla players. When you get to Jotunheim, Skrymir’s Mitten is bugged. If you enter it once you can never enter it again. They have known about it since launch but no fix yet. So when you do go in make sure it is during the quest and get the two bloodstones while you are in there. Or else you’ll be like me 110 hours in and unable to Platinum on my PS due to the completionist trophy requirement.

I keep giggling wherever I see the comparisons to GTA; of course I grew up with tabletop RPGs. I feel sorry for the folks who’s only exposure to open-world gaming is the GTA series.
