Waiting for CDProjekt.
Every review I’ve read has said it’s crazy buggy, and while I’m sure the content is good there’s no reason I can’t wait a month or two for a more polished experience.

Maybe if it had multiplayer. I was under the impression it was gonna be an actual legit persistent MMORPG to dethrone finally wow, but turns out it’s just Fallout re-skinned
I’ve seen some gaming news site first impression. Seem like it’s good but not like the game to end all games good.
I think people just overhype it as usual. But this time it’s way… way… overhyped.
The story is only 20 hours long and maybe 40-50 hours with side quests. I will be playing Cyberpunk but not sure it will be “weeks”.
I can’t stand buggy games. The reason I’ll never touch another Bethesda game.
I’ve been waiting for this game since I watched the e3 trailer live many years ago, so it’s a bit sad I have 0 interest in playing it now that it’s actually here.
Ha! Me too. Exactly this. I probably won’t even get to the game proper tomorrow.

For those commenting on early reviews. Most negative reviews are your typical SJW wanna be journalist crying about identity politics (one wacko did SEVEN PARAGRAPHS ON IT) and others comment negativity on the bugs. There is a 50GB day one patch that will hopefully take care of some of the bugs.

I was lucky enough to get an order in at Best Buy for a 3060ti which I’m picking up tomorrow. However its going to be my Christmas present so I’ve got a few weeks before I’ll be able to play it. Hopefully that’ll give enough time for some early patches that I hear this game needs.
There’s a day zero patch and there was a mid week patch (probably pert of the day 0) last week for those with review copies. It’s a "we’ll see’, but I liked Witcher 3 and I’ve always enjoyed the cyberpunk setting.
That Polygon review was hysterical. Anybody who takes them seriously deserves what they get. They’re basically a meme.

And good to hear with all the problems in 2077 that C0v1d did not seem to be an issue.
I’d be all over it except… I’m really not a fan of cyberpunk. At all in almost every way. The one scifi I care so little for.
If they keep these 8hr shut downs coming yeah. EST Timezone gets boned for update times like this. I get off work, I want to play WoW before making dinner and spending time with my partner, but nah.
Multiple reviews are already saying there’s quite a few bugs still in the game that are hampering the experience.

Yeah I don’t count launch bugs as detrimental to a review or the opening experience. We all know that CDProjekt is committed to providing a stable and fluid game, as they did with Witcher III, which also had launch bugs.
If they denied there being any bugs and didn’t work on anything, then there would be a problem. So far reviews for the game are looking absolutely fantastic, minus PC Gamer and Gamespot which lowered the score due to opening bugs.
Not I. Cyberpunk isn’t my type of game. I could see my nephews playing it, but I’ll be spending my time leveling my numerous alts and attempting to get their proffs leveled at the same time.
It’s a single player game, i can play it whenever. So not gonna be me
