Has anyone ever used a cyberpowe PC before? I was planning on getting myself a good gaming desktop PC and I was wonderin if this would be worth the money
I used one as a base for upgrades, bought it for like 600 bucks then put a ryzen 5, gtx 1660 and 16gb of ddr4 and its butter.
Butter means good right lol
Yeah it means its smooth as butter playing games at max lol
Thank you I Appreciate the feed back. My laptop is just done, it can’t handle WoW anymore so it’s time to switch off this bad boy.
Had a cyberpower pc before when I was still a noob. Served me well until lightning struck my house and smoked it.
Make sure you get an SSD or even two of them.
I bought one about six or seven years back. Performance was pretty good for the time, but it had major cooling issues, even with a water-cooled CPU. Ended having to point a fan at the case.
How much are you willing to spend?
Why didnt you just replace the cooling system? lol
1000-1300 possibly. I just need something for WoW it’s the only game I play really on pc
I am using one. It was a really good machine at a good price. RIP it being 6yo now and about time for another. I was just looking at their website on possible upgrades last weekend.
P.S. Before anyone says “just build your own”, I’ve been there, I’ve done that, and now I make enough to have others build it for me.
Oh yeah man you can get a good set up for 1300.
Try to buy one that is cheaper but has a good board and CPU in it, then spend the rest on the ram, SSD and graphics card you want.
Sounds good man thank you
I second this. Usually, the prebuilt pcs will have a single and tiny ssd that may only be 120-240gb. Nowadays, a single game could take up all that space. So definitely shop around for an ssd or two when you can afford to do so.
I bought one years ago. First one wouldn’t boot up so I shipped it back to have it repaired. It came back with the screws on the back cover forced on so hard it bent the case. sent back again and they shipped a completely new one. That one worked fairly well but as someone else mentioned they can have heat issues.
My current PC was made by cyberpower pc. I’ve had it for a while and it runs like a champ.
OH! and don’t forget two monitors, having dual monitors is a godsend and you can get a couple cheap 1080p’s for like 80 bucks a piece.
Cyber power looked good. I ended up going with ibuypower and it’s been perfect. Good luck!
They are like other computer manufacturers. They get good, and bad reviews on their builds. Like most things you purchase in life, you get what you pay for. I once bought a pc from IBuypower like 20 years ago. It was a good pc, and lasted several years. When the amd athlon was the go to cpu.
