Cutting Edge at age 65

Tonight our guild, Unlikely Legends, killed mythic G’huun. This is my first time getting the “cutting edge” achievement.

I’m just curious to know if any other wow players who have the cutting edge achievement are older than I am at age 65 (66 this June).

Thanks to a great guild for carrying me many times and had the patience to allow me to learn all of this content’s fights at mythic level. I got MC’d at 7:33, but playing my alt (warlock) so we had the gates was okay by me.

This old fart is my father (literally). We live together and have gamed since he use to put me in his lap and let me watch him PK in games like Asherons Call and Ultima online. Lot of funny stories along the way, and G’huun prog with a 65 year old orb runner wasnt without hilarious frustrations, but pretty cool to play at this level with your dad.

Well… You really don’t see people that age streaming, it’s mostly all the young adults or really young kids.
Its almost like a shared community perspective on what a streamer should be at this point(right?)

Grats on achievement espeically at 65 that is quite grand!!!

Dont let all the Ageists get to you keep up hard work… Alot of people these days have no respect for their elder’s which is quite sad…

I know I always try to be nice to my Elders provided their not rude and nasty back to me.

But ya if I am still playing video games when I am 65 or older that would be interesting…

I have slowly been lossing interests in video games and once my current pc dies likely not buying another gamming PC might move on… or not who knows.

Indeed quite sad OP just wanted to post an awesome achievement yet people hate on him becuse of his age… or Think hes Trolling I doubt it… He seemed quite honest and Wow does have alot of older players.

I think that gaming, especially at high levels, helps to prevent white matter loss in the brain. I can still type around 80 wpm. My reflexes aren’t what they used to be during my PK days in the early mmo’s. But once I learn it (which admittedly is helped by my son), I’ve got it. I wish more older players find the value of gaming if for no other reason than to stay sharp of mind.
