[Customization] More Long Beard Options for Characters

Hello Azeroth community!

I would like to share a suggestion that I believe many players would appreciate: the implementation of more options for long beards for our characters in World of Warcraft. As a dedicated fan of this incredible universe, I have noticed that, although we have a variety of customization options, the choices for long beards may be somewhat limited.

Beards are a fundamental part of the identity of many characters, which is why I would like to suggest to the development team to consider expanding the available options.

During the Warcraft 1 campaign, the presence of a beard on the face of the human mage adds a touch of seriousness and wisdom to his image. This subtle characteristic, combined with his focused expression, reflects the deep connection to the arcane mysteries that human mages master. A beard that suggests experience and magical power, complementing the aura of magic that surrounds them. :man_mage::sparkles:

In movies like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and the tales of the legendary wizard Merlin, the presence of long beards adds an aura of authority and mystery to their characters.

I believe many players share this interest, so I would like to open this discussion to hear the opinions and ideas of everyone. Do you agree that more options for long beards would be welcome, especially for human races (Stormwind and Kul Tiran) and draenei?

I’d love to see longer beard options. It has always been lacking and when looking at notable mage characters of the past like Antonidas who had long beards in Warcraft 3 it is a shame we can’t have them in-game.

(Also add beards to Trolls in general)

Thank you Finraziell@wyrmrest-accord and Banshih@moon-guard for mentioning this topic. I think it’s worth the addition being expanded to undead and other races as mentioned in this 2020 thread.

Even more standardization between races would go a long way. Both of these are labeled as “Full” beard in character creation, but the beard is considerably longer on Gnomes compared to Humans.

Facial hair standardization (not to mention, hairstyles) as applicable should be the norm.

There is no reason one race can grow long hair and have it styled accordingly, yet another cannot go to their faction-shared Barber Shop and benefit from the same look inspired by styles of a fellow race.

I agree. Long glorious beards and perms should be the norm. The barbers of Azeroth and the Broken Isles have evolved in talents over the years, am sure they can style any race now.
